  • 703 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2008, compared with 779 during 2007.


  • 89 people have been seriously injured in JULY 2008.


  • 54 serious injuries were males and 35 were females.


  • 65 were vehicle occupants, 10 were motorcycle riders, 10 were pedestrians and 4 were cyclists.
  • In JULY 2008, there were 42 serious injuries in the country and 47 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 73 serious injury crashes in JULY 2008, 47 involved a single vehicle and 26 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 65 crashes involved a single serious injury and 8 involved multiple serious injuries.
