ROAD FATALITIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

30 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2008, compared with 45 during 2007.

9 people have been killed to date in APRIL 2008.

7 fatalities were males and 2 were females.

4 were pedestrians, 4 were vehicle occupants and 1 was a motorcycle rider.

To date in APRIL 2008, there were 3 fatalities in the country and 6 in Adelaide.

Of the 9 fatal crashes to date in APRIL 2008, 4 involved a single vehicle and 5 involved more than one vehicle.
All 9 crashes involved a single fatality.

The 3 heavy vehicle fatal crashes involved Semitrailer/Semitrailer, Car Sedan/Truck/Pedestrian on Road, Semitrailer/Pedestrian on Road.

The motorcycle fatal crash involved Station Wagon/Motorcycle.
