ROAD FATALITIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

87 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2007, compared with 95 during 2006.

10 people have been killed to date in SEPTEMBER 2007.

9 fatalities were males and 1 was female.

6 were vehicle occupants, 3 were pedestrians and 1 was a motorcycle rider.

To date in SEPTEMBER 2007, there were 6 fatalities in the country and 4 in Adelaide.

Of the 10 fatal crashes to date in SEPTEMBER 2007, 8 involved a single vehicle and 2 involved more than one vehicle.
All 10 crashes involved a single fatality.

The 4WD fatal crash involved Pedestrian on Road/4WD.

The heavy vehicle fatal crash involved Truck/Pedestrian on Road.

The 2 utility fatal crashes involved Utility/Tree, Car Sedan/Utility.

The motorcycle fatal crash involved Station Wagon/Motorcycle.
