KEY FACTS:
  • 774 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2007, compared with 781 during 2006.


  • 89 people have been seriously injured in JULY 2007.


  • 54 serious injuries were males and 35 were females.


  • 71 were vehicle occupants, 9 were pedestrians, 6 were motorcycle riders and 3 were cyclists.


  • In JULY 2007, there were 41 serious injuries in the country and 48 in Adelaide.


  • Of the 74 serious injury crashes in JULY 2007, 38 involved a single vehicle and 36 involved more than one vehicle.

  • 64 crashes involved a single serious injury and 10 involved multiple serious injuries.
