KEY FACTS:

774 people have been seriously injured on South Australian roads during 2007, compared with 781 during 2006.

89 people have been seriously injured in JULY 2007.

54 serious injuries were males and 35 were females.

71 were vehicle occupants, 9 were pedestrians, 6 were motorcycle riders and 3 were cyclists.

In JULY 2007, there were 41 serious injuries in the country and 48 in Adelaide.

Of the 74 serious injury crashes in JULY 2007, 38 involved a single vehicle and 36 involved more than one vehicle.
64 crashes involved a single serious injury and 10 involved multiple serious injuries.
