ROAD FATALITIES IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA

KEY FACTS:

125 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2007, compared with 117 during 2006.

14 people have been killed to date in DECEMBER 2007.

10 fatalities were males and 4 were females.

11 were vehicle occupants, 2 were pedestrians and 1 was a motorcycle rider.

To date in DECEMBER 2007, there were 11 fatalities in the country and 3 in Adelaide.

Of the 13 fatal crashes to date in DECEMBER 2007, 7 involved a single vehicle and 6 involved more than one vehicle.
12 crashes involved a single fatality and 1 involved multiple fatalities.
The 2 heavy vehicle fatal crashes involved Car Sedan/Semitrailer, Truck/Stobie Pole.
The 2 utility fatal crashes involved Utility, Utility/Tree.

The motorcycle fatal crash involved Car Sedan/Motorcycle.
