KEY FACTS:

77 people have been killed on South Australian roads to date during 2007, compared with 87 during 2006.

11 people have been killed to date in AUGUST 2007.

7 fatalities were males and 4 were females.

9 were vehicle occupants and 2 were cyclists.

To date in AUGUST 2007, there were 5 fatalities in the country and 6 in Adelaide.

Of the 9 fatal crashes to date in AUGUST 2007, 3 involved a single vehicle and 6 involved more than one vehicle.
8 crashes involved a single fatality and 1 involved multiple fatalities.

The 3 heavy vehicle fatal crashes involved Car Sedan/Bus, Semitrailer/Pedal Cycle, Car Sedan/Semitrailer.
