Driver Reviver

Driver Reviver is a national campaign sponsored by Bushells Tea which encourages drivers to reduce fatigue by taking rest breaks when travelling.

Driver Reviver sites operate in South Australia during most major holiday periods as part of the longest running and most extensive campaign of this type in Australia.

The sites provide a welcome break from driving, and free coffee or tea and a snack for travellers.

Driver Reviver sites are wholly operated by community volunteers, who willingly give their time to help improve the safety of other members of the community.

Similar campaigns have been run in South Australia during holiday periods by

  • Caltex/ Nestle
  • Mobil.

Transport SA supports and promotes the concept of Driver Reviver and similar campaigns as important measures addressing driver fatigue.

For information on Driver Reviver and the location and times of sites operating in South Australia and other States, please click on the Driver Reviver logo.
