Hazard map for the River Murray, Murray Lakes and Lake Bonney
The following Google map shows some of the hazards created by low water in the River Murray, Murray Lakes and Lake Bonney. The map is designed to help boaters understand where and what the hazards are before going out on these waters.
The hazards are marked as yellow icons on the map. For more information and a photo of each hazard left click on its icon on the map - or on its name in the list beneath the map. Hovering your cursor over a hazard in the list will also highlight its icon in red on the map.
You can help us identify navigation hazards and make our waters safer by e-mailing their location and description (and GPS coordinates if possible) to the Department at:DTEI.RecreationalBoatingUnit@sa.gov.au Alternatively you can report hazard details over the phone by calling Murray Watch on (08) 8531 0710.
