Seasonal registration

A registered owner/operator may apply to seasonally register a vehicle/ trailer where it is only used for part of the year eg

• a farm truck that is used during harvest
• a caravan that is used only during the summer months.

The lowest administration fee is payable when

• the registration is renewed after 90 days
and

• within 12 months of the previous expiry date.

You can apply for seasonal registration at the time the vehicle is first registered or when renewing the registration.

Payment for seasonally registered vehicles cannot be made through Australia Post offices and Bill EXPRESS participating outlets.
