Notice to Mariners No 49 of 2001

South Australia - Gulf of St. Vincent. Entrance to Port Adelaide.- Outer Harbour.

Mariners are advised that Outer Harbour Channel marker No. 5 beacon has been involved in a shipping accident and is not operational.
Approx. position of beacon : Latitude 34 degrees 47.57 mins. South Longitude 138 degrees 26.63 mins East.
It is anticipated that recovery and re-installation of the beacon will commence on 20th September 2001. A further notice will be issued when the beacon is made operational. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution when navigating in the area.
