Notice to Mariners No 9 of 2001

South Australia - Gulf St Vincent - "Maersk Victory" - Diving Operations

Former Notice No.8 of 1997

Mariners are advised that diving operations will be carried out sometime during the period from Saturday 24 February 2001 until Saturday 24 March 2001 in Gulf St Vincent adjacent to the damaged legs of the disabled 'jack-up' drill rig "Maersk Victory" at the location referred to in the previous notice. During the operations, which include cutting and retrieving debris, the vessel "Andrew Wilson" will be anchored in the vicinity and will exhibit the appropriate lights and shapes.

Mariners are advised to proceed with caution in the vicinity and to keep 500 metres clear of the vessel at all times. Navy
