Special Notices
- Farina to Mulgaria - CLOSED due to rain
- Pondela Ruin to Kangaroo Well via Moonaree Station - 4WD only - caution at creek crossings and washouts.
- Yunta to Carrieton via Baratta Station - Caution at creek crossings
- Birdsville Inside Track - Closed due to flooding of Goyders Lagoon. Note access from Birdsville to Alton Downs Station is open.
- PUBLIC ACCESS ROUTE (PAR) INFORMATION
- Halligan Bay Track (access to Lake Eyre North) and Level Post Bay Track (access to Lake Eyre South) - Open only to 4WD with caution. These are declared PAR. They are bush tracks not road.s The tracks are deteroriating due to increased traffic - be aware of corrugations and bulldust holes. Please drive to track conditions. Driving on the lake surface is an offence and dangerous. Trailers and caravans are not recommended. Note: There is no camping at Level Post Bay - camping available at Muloorina Campground.
- K1 Warburton PAR into the Simpson Desert is CLOSED until 16 March 2010.
- NATIONAL PARKS INFORMATION
- Witjira National Park - Spring Creek Delta permanently closed - use bypass track located 5km east of Dalhouise Springs.
- Simpson Desert Regional Reserve and Conservation Park is CLOSED until 16 March 2010.

Changes have recently been made for accessing pastoral leased land.
A flyer has been produced by the South Australian Association of
Four Wheel Drive Clubs (SAAFWDC) to better inform members of the
touring public about the nature of the leases and the requirements
and full responsibilities for those wishing to traverse them.
