Bicycle counters
In addition to the annual cordon counts, ‘smart counters' have been installed in Adelaide 's west to provide comprehensive data about bicycle use in the central business district (CBD) of Adelaide. Three counters are operating in bicycle lanes on Anzac Highway at Keswick, on Port Road at Thebarton, and on Sir Donald Bradman Drive in the west parklands.

Over time, these counters operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week will complement the figures gained from the annual cordon counts by indicating cycling trends, including peak times, as well as the effects of weather on cycling.

*** Note: to date there is insufficient data to include the Port Road counter
