Cycling

Cycling is fun, economical, environmentally friendly and a healthy way to travel.

The South Australian Government recognises cyclists' legitimate right to use our roads and is aware of the ongoing concerns cyclists have for their safety. This Government is committed to increasing the sustainability and health of our community and cycling is considered a key component of achieving this.

This site details what the Department for Transport, Energy and Infrastructure is undertaking to encourage and support cycling in South Australia. It also provides useful information to help you on your way when cycling for transport and recreation.
