Expiation Notices – Process
payment for SAPOL "on the spot" fines
South Australia Police (SAPOL) Expiation Notices may be paid at
any Customer Service Centre or by telephoning the Call Centre.
Payments may only be made before the due date appearing on the
Expiation Notice. You must contact the SAPOL Expiation Notice Branch
on (08) 8463 4388 for any overdue payments.
Payments at a Transport SA Customer Service Centre
- It will be necessary to present your Expiation Notice and payment
before the due date, if paying at a Transport SA Customer Service
Centre.
- Payment may be made by cash, cheque, debit and credit, or charge
card. Cards accepted are Bankcard, MasterCard, Visa.
- Only payment in full for all offences appearing on the Expiation
Notice, may be received at a Transport SA Customer Service Centre.
If you dispute one or more of the offences listed on the Expiation
Notice, refer to the reverse side of the Notice for further instructions,
or contact the SAPOL Expiation Notice Branch on telephone (08) 8463
4388.
Payments over the Telephone – Transport SA Call
Centre
- Please call the Transport SA Call Centre on the telephone number
below to make your payment.

- If you pay your Expiation Notice over the telephone using a credit
or charge card, it will be necessary to have your Notice and card
ready before speaking to a Transport SA Call Centre operator.
- Only payment in full for all offences appearing on the Expiation
Notice will be accepted. If you dispute one or more of the offences
listed on the Expiation Notice, refer to the reverse side of the
Notice for further instructions, or contact the SAPOL Expiation
Notice Branch on telephone (08) 8463 4388.
