Who is eligible?

If you are aged 18 years or more you can apply for a Proof of Age Card, even if you already are the holder of a photo permit or photo licence.

Obtaining a Proof of Age Card

You can apply for a Proof of Age Card at any Customer Service Centre.

You will be required to complete an ‘Application for Proof of Age Card' form.

You must supply evidence of identity by providing a minimum of three identity documents that verify your identity, age, signature and residential address.

If you are already the holder of a photographic learners permit or licence you may be exempted from the need to supply full evidence of identity.

After payment of the appropriate fee and having your photo taken you will be issued with a receipt.

Your Proof of Age Card will be posted to you within one week.
