Exemption from minimum driving
experience requirements
The Registrar of Motor Vehicles may, at his discretion, issue any

driving experience requirements prescribed for that class, where
the Registrar is satisfied that special circumstances exist which
justify the issue of that particular class of licence.
Training in Lieu of Experience courses

Restricted Licences and other Exemptions
Restricted licences or exemptions from minimum driving experience requirements other than the TILE course may be available (for example, employment in farming, transporting produce etc). Applications will be assessed by the Registrar of a case-by-case basis.
Exemptions are not available for class MC.
