As from 2 June 2008, you no longer need to carry all published route maps. You are only required to carry all of the current DTEI maps showing the approved route for the entire journey being undertaken.

For example, if you are operating a Road-Train at General Mass Limits and your journey is on the Eyre Highway from Port Augusta to the Western Australian border, you must carry the current Eyre Peninsula and Ceduna to WA Border maps, and the Port Augusta, Kimba, Wudinna and Ceduna/Thevenard Township maps.
