This site contains useful information such as the Australian
State of the Environment Report.
Environment Protection
and Heritage Council
The scope of the EPHC includes environment protection and heritage
(natural, historic and indigenous heritage) responsibilities. The
EPHC incorporates the National Environment Protection Council (NEPC),
the environmental protection components of the Australian New Zealand
Environment and Conservation Council (ANZECC) and the Heritage Ministers'
Meeting.
National Transport Commission
The National Transport Commission was formed to introduce nationally
consistent transport policies and laws. One of its aims is to reduce
road transport’s environmental impacts. The National Transport Commission works with
the National Environmental Protection Council.
