Subcontractor Policy, Transport SA

Transport SA (TSA) policy is that any company that has won a contract with TSA should not unfairly disadvantage its workers, subcontractors or suppliers by withholding or delaying payment due and payable to them.

All major works contracts let by TSA include provisions designed to ensure that workers, subcontractors and suppliers receive the payment which is due. There is also a requirement that the terms and conditions of subcontracts are consistent with those in the head contract.

If a subcontractor or supplier believes that they have not received a payment properly due to them when working on a TSA contract, they should immediately contact the TSA representative on site. The matter will be investigated and, if appropriate, action will be taken in accordance with the General Conditions of Contract.
